Terms of Use
All materials contained in the Autism Navigator® Collection of Tools and Courses (Collection) are provided by the Autism Institute in the Florida State University College of Medicine (Copyright Owners) as a service to our members and may only be used for informational purposes. You must register to use the Autism Navigator® Collection. "Mirroring" or making available any portion of the Autism Navigator® Collection by another server is strictly prohibited and may result in the violation of our copyright privileges for which we may seek legal remedies.
Your use of the Autism Navigator® Collection constitutes an agreement to these terms. If you do not agree to the terms, do not use the Autism Navigator® Collection.
The video clips presented on the Autism Navigator® Collection are copyrighted. Unlicensed commercial, educational, and non-profit use on the Internet, or publication in print or any other media form, of these digital images or video clips without written permission is strictly prohibited.
Supported Browsers and Platforms
The Autism Navigator® Collection supports the latest versions of the browsers and platforms listed below. Be sure to check to be sure that your browser is up to date.
Mac and PC laptops and desktops: Chrome and Safari are preferred. Firefox is generally supported but some users do experience performance issues, particularly with older versions. Our courses will not function properly in Internet Explorer.
iPads: Safari, Chrome, Firefox
Windows tablets: Tablet devices using the Microsoft Windows operating system are not supported.
Technical Support
Autism Navigator Technical Support contact information and normal business hours are posted at http://autismnavigator.learnercommunity.com/Help. Note that this information may change from time to time. In the event that the Online Course or any part thereof malfunctions during the term hereof, Autism Navigator shall respond by email. Email requests for support shall be received on a 24-hour basis and responded to by Autism Navigator during normal business hours, with after-hour requests responded to by Autism Navigator no later than the following business day. Autism Navigator shall employ commercially reasonable efforts to affect a repair or work-around for such malfunction in accordance with the support levels described below.
Support Levels and Responses
Level One (Severity 1): Data corruption or system outage. Autism Navigator shall use best efforts to provide a fix, work around, or patch for Severity 1 support requests within twenty-four (24) hours, so long as Autism Navigator can replicate the reported error.
Level Two (Severity 2): A course feature does not work as documented and no reasonable work around exists. Autism Navigator shall make an initial response to a Severity 2 support request within two (2) hours after receipt, provided such calls occur within normal business hours and within twelve (12) hours provided such calls occur outside of the normal business hours. Autism Navigator shall use commercially reasonable efforts to provide a fix or work around for Severity 2 bugs within five (5) business days, so long as Autism Navigator can replicate the error.
Level Three (Severity 3): Feature does not work as documented but a reasonable work around exists. Autism Navigator shall make an initial response to a Severity 3 support request within twenty-four (24) hours after receipt. Autism Navigator shall use commercially reasonable efforts to identify a resolution to Severity 3 bugs within ten (10) business days, so long as Autism Navigator can replicate the reported error.
Usage Rights and Restrictions:
The materials (including information, documents, text, graphics, videos, photographs, software, and scripts) provided in the Autism Navigator® Collection are copyrighted and unauthorized use of any of these materials may violate copyright and/or other laws. You may use any portion of the Autism Navigator® Collection for personal, non-commercial use only, unless specifically authorized to do otherwise by the Copyright Owners in writing or as allowed by any terms agreed to by written contract. This may not be construed as a transfer of title. These terms are subject to the following restrictions: users may not: (a) modify or translate any materials on the Autism Navigator® Collection or use them for any commercial purpose, public display, performance, sale, lease, or rental; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any software, images, photographs, documents, or scripts except and only to the extent permitted by applicable law; (c) make derivative works of any software, images, photographs, documents or scripts; (d) remove any copyright or other proprietary notices from the materials in the Autism Navigator® Collection; (e) transfer the materials presented in the Autism Navigator® Collection to another person, organization or Collection.
Ownership of Materials: All materials presented on the Autism Navigator® Collection are copyrighted and are protected by worldwide copyright laws and treaty provisions. These materials may not be copied, reproduced, modified, published, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way, without the Copyright Owners’ prior written permission. Permission may be granted to certain individuals, organizations, businesses, or institutions through written contract, or for single use of images, by facsimile or electronic mail. Except as expressly provided herein, the Copyright Owners do not grant any express or implied right to you under any copyrights or trade secret information. Other rights may be granted to you by the Copyright Owners in writing.
Disclaimer: REGISTRANTS AGREE THAT THEIR USE OF THIS COLLECTION IS AT THEIR SOLE RISK. THE MATERIALS AT THIS COLLECTION ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF ANY KIND INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NONINFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
